TVU School of Foreign Languages, 13 April 2016 – The School is organizing a Green Walk to increase awareness about the province drought.
Students, staff and faculty of the School will gather at 7:00 AM in Campus One. They will then walk along both banks of the Long Binh River wearing T-shirts and carrying signages that call for water saving and stopping using plastic drinking straws.
The area is ideal for raising awareness of plastic waste as the open market is alongside the river. The School’s students and staff will also clean up plastic waste along the river.
Since the School’s announcement of the activity last week, an impressive number of more than 320 students and staff have registered to join the Green Walk on April 16.
“Green Walk” is one of green activities initiated and organized by Tra Vinh University and TVU School of Foreign Languages since 2013 to raise awareness of sustainability within the context of Tra Vinh.
