Dr Ngoc Tai Huynh took up his position as Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Tra Vinh University after obtaining his Doctorate Degree in Education from the University of Tasmania, Australia. Previously, he obtained his B.A Degree in English Education at Can Tho University, Vietnam in 2010. Then, he was awarded Master of Philosophy in English Linguistics at Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2013. He completed his PhD program at the University of Tasmania in 2022.

His research and teaching focus on  Multimodal semiotics, Applied and Educational Linguistics, English, Bilingual and cultural education. He has presented at various international conferences, contributed to two book chapters published on IGI Global and Multilingual Matters. He also published a number of journal articles on Social Semiotics, Australian Journal of Teacher Education, and Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education.
