From my first day at TVU, the English teachers have welcomed me into their faculty with so much friendliness and warmth.
My colleagues have been eager to help and guide me as a first year teacher here, and I look up to them as respected mentors and highly experienced teachers.
I am so lucky to have their support, especially because I do not speak Vietnamese and would be lost here without them and their fluent English abilities.
Moreover, I have been so impressed by my English major students. I have taught in other places before, but I have never had students who were so motivated and engaged in their learning.
They have shown me a level of respect and kindness that has made me feel confident in the classroom, and their good attitudes have made it a joy to come into work to teach them everyday.
