On March 1, 2014, the School of Foreign Languages was detached from the School of Economics, Law and Foreign Languages to establish itself as an independent faculty.
Over 30 full-time faculty members bring together expertise from many English speaking countries, two of whom are internationally recognised experts in their fields. They write the books used in international universities and secondary schools.
Our undergraduate programs are designed to offer you an education that combines intellectual skills with practical experiences.
We offers two undergraduate programs majoring in English and Chinese.
These BA degree programs aim to equip students with advanced levels of English and Chinese language skills and cultural literacy for the use of English and Chinese for a variety of purposes.
You will be prepared to adapt to the challenge of changing working environment, find employment in different areas including teaching, communication and media industries, non- and governmental agencies, and translation.
Our BA program in English also provides a strong academic foundation for students interested in pursuing post graduate education such as Theory and methodology of English language teaching at the School of foreign languages.
We invite you to consider joining our learning community and to contact us for more information.
