In half an hour of rubbish collection at TVU Campus One, the group of 36 TVU and SUT students collected 53.1kg of plastic rubbish, consisting mainly of plastic straws, plastic bags and polystyrene takeaway food containers. TVU and SUT staff propose steps to tackle garbage disposal.

Connecting TVU with secondary schools through green activities

TVU and SUT students propose ways to link green activities to secondary school students, thus enriching student learning about sustainability, and fostering a sense of community engagement.

International Green Campus Project

This project was conceived by Dr Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector and President of Tra Vinh University, Dr Ho Dac Tuc, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics, Law and Foreign Languages, and Dr François Malherbe, Associate Dean International of the School of Life & Social Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology, in January 2013.

The following proposals are submited to the Management of TVU following two weeks of collaborative activities between Swinburne and Tra Vinh students and staff at TVU.
