THE TVU SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES is committed to teaching languages, literatures, and cultures. In today’s globalised society, the School advances foreign language proficiency and multi-cultural and international understanding, and plays a pivotal role in providing students with communication skills in languages and knowledge of literatures and cultures essential for them to function effectively in whatever their fields of professional expertise. Currently, we offer instruction in English, Chinese (Mandarin), and French with a major in English.
 
We are seeking to appoint two full-time Lecturers to teach French during the 2015-2016 academic year, beginning in early September 2015.

Requirements:
•    BA, (MA prefered) in French, linguistics, or other relevant fields
•    Native or near native fluency in French
•    Good command of English

 
Duties:
•    Teach and design courses in French at beginner level;
•    Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality teaching;
•    16-hour (maximum) per week teaching schedule.
