Tra Vinh City is situated in the Mekong Delta approximately 140 km SE of Ho Chi Minh City. It lies nestled along the banks of both the Hau Giang River and the Tien Giang River (the two major tributaries of the Mekong).
This quiet city of Mekong Delta with its friendly people, lush green rice fields, creeks
and canals, offers a lifestyle of tranquility away from the nearby cities of large industry, congestion, and pollution.
TVU Campus One is conveniently located about one km east of downtown Tra Vinh, within easy access to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and lots of cafeteria.
As a teaching English volunteer you will support the teaching of English in the School of Foreign Languages. You will teach from 18 to 20 hours a week for one semester with extensions available.
We provide fully furnished on-campus apartments that include all basic utilities. All of our on-campus guest rooms offer comfort, convenience, free wi-fi, and 24/7 security.
You will receive a monthly living allowance compatible with the local salary. The University offers a complimentary airport pick up service to take you to our main campus.
There are no set start dates. When you apply, you will specify the start and end dates. We do generally need at least two months to comfortably process an application.
