TVU School of Foreign Languages (SFL) is about to offer Korean language courses as an additional language to French and Mandarin from the second semester of the academic year 2016-2017.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the Dean of TVU SFL and the Head of Department of History- Inha University, lecturers and students from Inha University will come to TVU to teach Korean language and share Korean culture with Vietnamese students and lecturers in the period of five years.
In February 2017, there are two Korean courses with the participation of over 50 students. The instructors of these courses are Mr. Choi Hyeon Kyung and Ms. Lee Ye Seul from the DH. In addition to teaching tasks with no more than 15 hours per week, the Korean teachers are expected to interact with Vietnamese lecturers and students in weekly extra curriculum activities.
As soon as successfully completing their Korean courses, SFL students will receive a certificate awarded by the Rector of TVU. This is considered as an advantage for TVU SFL students to seek for working opportunities in various fields requiring foreign language skills such as English, Chinese, French and Korean.
